Slovenia was elected today by the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) to the Executive Committee of the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) for a three-year term beginning in January next year and running until the end of 2027, Slovenian Ambassador to the UN Boštjan Malovrh said.
