Both Peeter Jürisson and Peeter Olesk reached the finals of the European Shooting Championships in Chateauroux, France, on Sunday.
At the site of the Olympic Games 2024, the European Championships for small calibers took place at the 25 – 50 – 300m distance. The French Clément Bessaguet and Jean Quiquampoix finished second and third of the 25m pistol, respectively, on Sunday at the European Shooting Championships in Châteauroux. In the women's event, Camille Jedrzejewski, Olympic vice-champion, missed his qualification.
Exactly one year ago, the Olympic shooting competitions were held in Chateauroux, France. Now, Europe's best shooters are handing out European Championship medals there. Peeter Jürisson, who was back in the competition, reached the finals in the archery event, where he took sixth place.
Slovenian shooter Denis Bola Ujčič won 32nd place in the 25-meter pistol discipline at the European Small Arms, Large Arms and Rifle Shotgun Championships in Chateauroux, France, with 571 rounds.
