STA: Algerian president visits Slovenia to discuss strengthening cooperation

Slovenia and Algeria have extended the natural gas supply agreement for two years, under which Slovenia will purchase almost half of its gas needs from the North African country.

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune is arriving in Slovenia on Tuesday for a two-day official visit at the invitation of President Nataša Pirc Musar. The main topic of the visit, during which Tebboune will meet with the Slovenian state leadership, will be bilateral cooperation.
