Among a total of eight Asian and European choirs competing at the Gallus International Choir Competition in Maribor this weekend, the Slovenian Choir of St. Nicholas of Litija, conducted by Helena Fojkar Zupančič, won. It thus became one of the finalists for the 2026 European Grand Choir Prize, which will be held in Maribor on April 18, 2026.
