Tom Morello, Bruce Springsteen Launch 'Power to the People' Civic Fest
The one-day festival will support VoteRiders and HeadCount and feature performances from Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters and Joan Baez, organizers said.
- On Wednesday, May 27, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame guitarist Tom Morello announced the Power to the People Festival, scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.
- Described as a "non-partisan celebration of peace, justice, solidarity, music, and community action," the festival features an immersive "Freedom Village" space providing resources for civic engagement and grassroots organizing.
- Springsteen, the Foo Fighters, Joan Baez, Dave Matthews, and System of a Down's Serj Tankian headline the two-stage lineup, with additional organizations and special guests to be announced in the coming weeks.
- Ticket prices range from $125 to $1,500, with 100 per cent of VIP net proceeds benefiting VoteRiders and HeadCount to support voter registration and ballot access efforts.
