Springfield officially transfers tax title parcel to Emerson Wright Park
SPRINGFIELD — The City Council officially transferred a small parcel of land on Marble Street to the Parks Department to add to the size of Emerson Wright Park.The property measures 6,019 square feet, is next to the park and has been used and maintained by the Parks Department, but it was never formally moved from the city’s tax title custodian, said Laura Walsh, senior project manager for the department.
