Splash pad opens for summer in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - It's officially Splash Season! Locals can beat the heat this summer at the popular splash pad in Mill Creek Park. It's now officially open for the summer. The fountains were turned on Thursday at the Wick Recreation Center at Mill Creek Park. And just as the water started flowing, the kids were ready to enjoy it. Park officials say the splash pad will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is free to the public.
