FORT TOTTEN, N.D. – The Spirit Lake Nation has lifted its ban on drinking tap water, the tribe said in a release Wednesday, July 9. The drinking water has returned to safe levels of manganese, and you may now use tap water to make ice, infant formula, prepare beverages, and cook food.
