US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday evening (Wednesday night CEST) that some US weapons were already on their way to Ukraine. This was reported by the Brussels newspaper Politico, according to which Trump also reiterated that NATO countries would pay for them all. According to Reuters, he added that the US would not send any troops to Ukraine.
The head of the German Defense Ministry dodged the question of the number and type of weapons that Europe will buy from the United States to help Ukraine.
