SPICER The city of Spicer has a new mayor after the Spicer City Council appointed City Council member and acting mayor Robin deCathelineau as the town's new mayor at its Jan. 2 meeting. Former mayor Jesse Gislason submitted his resignation at the Dec. 19 meeting due to moving out of the city of Spicer, according to interim City Administrator Jen Beckler.
