The dreaded rebound effect: only 4 out of 10 people lose weight without regaining it
Seven out of ten Spaniards have tried to lose weight sometime in their lives, with an average of seven attempts. And more than half have tried it with some kind of miracle diet and without medical accompaniment. However, the most used strategies to lose weight are physical exercise (58% of respondents), followed by the hypocaloric diet (39%), the restriction of fats (57%) and the reduction of the consumption of carbohydrates (46%).
