It is thick, black, five centimeters long, has enormous jaws and a vicious bite: the Spanish bull spider. Although the spider naturally occurs only in southern Spain and Portugal, a specimen turned up on Friday in the Gelderland town of Nunspeet. "Its bite can be painful, but fortunately the venom is not fatal to humans."
