The port of Valencia has received the first marine solar plant of Spain, a pioneering project developed by the Spanish startup BlueNewables with the support of Naturgy. The platform, built in the shipyard San Enrique de Vigo and named after Paiporta in homage to the victims of the dana of 2024, will be located outside the southern counterdike of the port, where the stage of planned tests will be developed.
