South Dakota enters next phase of combatting robocalls

PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota is announcing Phase 2 of a multi-state crackdown against robocalls. According to Attorney General Marty Jackley, Operation Robocall Roundup issued warning letters to nearly 40 telecom companies earlier this year, requesting they stop allowing illegal robocalls to be routed through their networks.  The AGs say such robocalls are often the gateway to more serious scams.
