Sonja Barend distances herself from the theatre adaptation of her autobiographical book
Barend's book refers to the last words her Jewish father addressed to her mother in 1942 when he was arrested. A year later he was murdered in Auschwitz. According to her publisher, the performance is too much about her television career, which is not what her book is about.
