Soldier killed in Korean War ID'd as Hazel Park man

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A U.S. Army soldier who was killed during the Korean War has been identified as an 18-year-old Hazel Park man. On Monday, the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) identified the man as Pfc. William A. Wheeler. He was a member of H Company, 2nd Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division.
