New solar panels at SHS
~Photos courtesy of City of Somerville Last Monday, the city flipped the switch on the new solar panel array at Somerville High School. With nearly 17,000 square feet of solar panels, this array will produce around 7 million kilowatt hours during its lifetime. Not only is this solar array reducing carbon emissions, but it is going to generate over a million dollars in taxpayer savings.
