Soe on the election of the Pope: May the Church lead the way of unity towards a civilization of love

In his first response to the election of Pope Leo XIV, the president of the Slovenian Bishops' Conference, Andrej Saje, pointed out that he had been entrusted with "the responsible task of leading the Church through the numerous challenges of contemporary society, which is marked by difficulties but also by hope for a better and more just world." Slovenian bishops expressed their devotion to the new pope.
