In a report published on 19 June, the Court of Auditors delivered a satisfaction to the Restos du coeur, which had been able to modernize, but considered that the association, rather than calling for help in 2023, could have drawn more from its reserves. The Restos, for their part, said they had anticipated new difficulties.
In 2023, the Restos du coeur launched an exceptional appeal for donations, citing a critical financial situation. However, the Court of Auditors estimates in a report published on Thursday 19 June that the association could have used its reserves more before soliciting the state and the public.
