The Swiss National Bank is extending its Helvetia project to test digital central bank money. In addition, the SNB intends to test in more detail an alternative to Wholesale CBDCs for the settlement of tokenised assets.
The SNB is now also examining the settlement of tokenised assets with traditional central bank money and not only with Central Bank Digital Currency as before. The BX Digital is a partner for this.
