The city of Sapporo has announced a plan to expand the smoking restricted area in the center of Sapporo to the Susukino district and the entire Odori Park area. Until now, the smoking prohibited area in the center of Sapporo was from Nishi 1-chome to Nishi 4-chome, around Sapporo Station in the north, and around Susukino Station in the south.
