The smoking cessation drug Champix will be available again on the Belgian market from Sunday. The drug was taken off the market in 2021 due to an impurity in the production, but this has now been resolved. Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke (Vooruit) announced on Saturday, on World No Tobacco Day, that health insurance will also reimburse Champix.
