Beekeeping in Slovenia inscribed on the UNESCO Cultural Heritage List
During the meeting in Rabat, the Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage is expected to decide today on the entry of Lipizzaner breeding and beekeeping traditions in Slovenia on the UNESCO representative list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Although the committee was expected to decide on beekeeping as early as Wednesday, the Slovenian nomination did not come in handy.
