Ski museum to host talk about the namesake of the Gore Range on Tuesday

The Colorado Snowsports Museum in Vail will host local author and Vail Daily reporter John LaConte for a free event on Tuesday, starting at 5:30 p.m. LaConte will discuss his new book “Notorious Hunter Sir St. George Gore,” a biography of the person for whom the Gore Range and Gore Creek derive their names.
