A terrible accident occurred at Chunar railway station in Mirzapur on Kartik Purnima. Six pilgrims, alighting from the Chopan-Prayagraj passenger train, were hit by an express train (Howrah-Kalka Netaji Express) coming from the opposite direction while crossing the railway tracks, killing them instantly.
