Six people arrested for carjacking and possession of a prohibited weapon

A Meaford man wanted on multiple outstanding warrants was arrested in Owen Sound on Wednesday. Grey Bruce OPP, with the assistance of Owen Sound police, were able to locate the man after receiving reports of his possible whereabouts. After he was found and placed under arrest, suspected fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, an imitation handgun, a stun gun, brass knuckles and Canadian currency were located. The 42-year-old has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
