Six former Mizzou football players taken in NFL Draft
Six former Tigers were drafted and two more signed as undrafted free agents, extending Missouri’s recent run of NFL talent.
Six Missouri football players heard their names called in the 2026 NFL Draft between Thursday and Saturday, tying the program's modern record for a single class.
Head coach Eli Drinkwitz matched the team record twice in three years, joining former coach Gary Pinkel's 2009 and 2015 squads; Missouri has sent 15 players to the NFL via draft in the past three years.
Edge rusher Zion Young and linebacker Josiah Trotter were selected in Round 2 by the Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, respectively; defensive tackle Chris McClellan and right tackle Keagen Trost went to the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams in Round 3.
Wide receiver Kevin Coleman and cornerback Toriano Pride were selected on Day 3, while undrafted free agents Drey Norwood and Stephen Hall signed with the Rams and Houston Texans respectively.
All six of Mizzou's draft picks this year were transfers to the university, continuing a successful pipeline that previously produced cornerbacks Kris Abrams-Draine and Ennis Rakestraw.
