- However, the Notification said "essential services" and budget preparation staff remain exempted, while holidays apply to all government, semi-government, and municipal institutions.
- The Notification further stated that Friday, May 29, "shall be observed as Work From Home" for relevant government departments, maintaining partial operations.
- Eidul Azha, also known as the "Feast of Sacrifice," commemorates the Qur'anic story of Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah, involving prayers and charitable acts.
