SELLERSBURG — An investigation is ongoing after a state report unveiled questionable expenses and unaccounted for funds for Silver Creek High School’s baseball team from 2021 to 2023.

Silver Creek Felon Found with Altered Gun During Traffic Stop

A convicted felon, Damaris Deunte Stevenson, 36 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with a gun that had its serial number scratched off. Reports said that the .22 caliber handgun was found during a traffic stop on Ga 20 at the Ga 1 Loop. Officers added that the stop was originally conducted when they saw that one of Stevenson’s taillights was broken. Source
