(The Center Square) – Over the last 90 days, vehicle thefts and vehicle burglaries have spiked in Louisiana's third-largest city, according to the Shreveport Police Department.

The theft of vehicles and thefts of items in vehicles rise during summer months while school is out and juveniles are on the street. This type of crime is up in two Shreveport neighborhoods in particular.
