Hong Kong police reported on November 29 that, as of 3 p.m. that day, the fire at Hung Fuk Court had resulted in 128 deaths and 83 injuries. 150 people remain missing. It is conservatively estimated that it will take 3 to 4 weeks to confirm the death toll.
