The "suspicious death" investigation that began with the discovery of 18-year-old Dilan Geyik hanging in İzmir's Buca district uncovered a chilling murder. The suspected killer, Mustafa Bingöl, who strangled the young girl to make it look like a suicide and left a fake letter, was caught thanks to police reviewing 450 hours of security camera footage. Bingöl, who was arrested, committed suicide in prison.
