The All Japan High School Athletic Meet continued on the 26th at the Nachikatsuura Town Gymnasium and Cultural Center in Wakayama Prefecture, with wrestling taking place. In the men's 125kg class, Shota Oyakawa (2nd year, Northern Agricultural High School) placed third. This was the first medal for Okinawa Prefecture in this tournament.
