SAPULPA –– The Sapulpa Historical Museum hosted a 50th anniversary celebration on Saturday, June 14, replete with a guided tour, prizes, a cookout and music. It should be noted that the museum actually opened on July 14, 1975, but, according to Curator and Interim Director Rachel Whitney, it was thought that the weather would be oppressive in mid-July; thus, the fete was held in June.
