Ewa Zajączkowska-Hernik was already present at the Patriots for Europe faction meeting on Wednesday.
Ewa Zajączkowska-Hernik, a member of the European Parliament for the Polish Confederation, has announced that she has left the Europe of Sovereign Nations group and will continue to work in the European Parliament as a member of the Patriots for Europe group. According to the politician, she will remain a member of the Confederation.
"It's time for a change. Today I joined the European Parliament group Patriots for Europe and left the ranks of Europe of Sovereign Nations!" wrote Confederation politician Ewa Zajączkowska-Hernik. “Today I joined the European Parliament group Patriots for Europe and left the ranks of Europe of Sovereign Nations,” wrote MEP Ewa Zajączkowska-Hernik, one of the most recognizable figures of the Confederation, today.
I have not resigned from New Hope and have not been informed of my expulsion from the party," Ewa Zajączkowska-Hernik told polsatnews.pl. The party's spokesperson, however, claims that by changing its faction in the European Parliament, it has self-excluded. Sławomir Mentzen also commented on the matter.
