A murder committed 30 years ago in Samsun, for which the perpetrator has never been found, has resurfaced thanks to the desperate plea of the victim's daughter. Meryem Aydın, the daughter of Hamit Geyik, who was killed in 1996 by being struck on the head with a stone and stabbed at his workplace, appealed to the Minister of Justice, Akın Gürlek, saying, "I want my father's killer to be found before I die. Please, help us."
