Report: Shawn Michaels Expected to Replace Bruce Prichard in WWE Creative
Shawn Michaels is set to take over a larger creative role as Bruce Prichard shifts to a consultant position after WrestleMania 43, Pwinsider reported.
- WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is expected to succeed Bruce Prichard as Executive Director of Creative Writing & Talent following WrestleMania 43 in April 2027, according to PWInsider.
- Prichard, 63, is stepping back into a consultant role based in Texas due to health concerns, including upcoming neck surgery tied to a 1991 angle involving The Ultimate Warrior and his Brother Love character.
- Michaels, currently Senior Vice President of Talent Development and Creative, has led NXT since September 2021 while evolving the brand into its current form alongside Chief Content Officer Paul 'Triple H' Levesque.
- With Michaels transitioning to main roster creative, sources indicate Styles may take a more hands-on role at the Performance Center, though WWE has not yet confirmed a successor for the NXT leadership position.
- Levesque and Michaels will soon collaborate directly on main roster creative, continuing a professional partnership spanning decades as founding members of D-Generation.
