Sharon McCombs Fontenot of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away at age 80 on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025 with her immediate family comforting her.  Sharon was born in Alexandria, La., on Dec. 1,1944 to Cliford McCombs and Betty (nee Phillips) McCombs.  She is preceded in death by her parents.  Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Larry, and her son, Stephen and his wife, Rachel of Richardson, Texas.  She is also survived by a brother, Mark and his w…
