Sharon Herrera sets a new LAI record in the 10,000m walk

MAYAGÜEZ – International athlete Sharon Herrera broke the Interuniversity Athletic League (LAI) record tonight in the women's 10,000-meter race walk with a time of 47:20.68 seconds.

The representative of the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) of Río Piedras, Sharon Herrera, imposed a new mark on the 10,000 meters march during the second day of the Athletic Justas of the Interuniversity Athletic League (LAI), held at the José Antonio Figueroa Freyre stadium in Mayagüez.
