On Saturday morning several railway lines were closed in NRW, on many lines there are delays or train failures. A lot of work for fire brigades until the night.
After heavy thunderstorms, rail traffic in the West remains impaired. Travelers in long-distance and local transport have to be prepared for failures and delays for a while.
Heavy thunderstorms, heavy rains and hail leave Germany on Friday via North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony. Trees fall, roads are flooded, long-distance trains are held back. In Hanover the NDR-2-Plaza-Festival has to be evacuated temporarily.
