Some metro Atlanta areas received hail Thursday afternoon when strong storms brought along another round of rain.

Severe storms remain possible Thursday and Friday

We saw numerous severe storms across North Georgia on Wednesday and additional ones are possible Thursday and Friday. The Storm Prediction Center has all of North Georgia under a marginal (level 1/5) risk for severe storms on both Thursday and Friday afternoons.
