In 2018, an electronic handcart crashed at a railroad crossing in Oss. Four children were killed. Seven years later, the criminal case began, and the judge had to decide to what extent the Stint is a "harmful product."
The Public Prosecution Service had demanded a prison sentence of five years and four months against the two men responsible for the production and sale of the electric handcart.
The court in 's-Hertogenbosch ruled in the case surrounding the fatal accident involving the Stint car "very just and very fair," said attorney Geert-Jan Knoops on Friday. The court acquitted his clients, the two Stint owners who were held criminally liable for the accident by the Public Prosecution Service.
