The Prince Albert RCMP ticketed seven protesters for allegedly blocking a bridge on Highway 2 north of the city on Tuesday.

RCMP responded to reports of people obstructing a bridge on Highway 2 near Prince Albert. One woman was arrested; others were ticketed.

“Officers tried to get them to move off the roadway and when they refused, all were ticketed under the Traffic Safety Act for unlawfully walking on a highway,” the Saskatchewan RCMP said in a statement.
