Seth Rogen to Reboot ‘Littlest Hobo’ Dog Drama in Canada
On Thursday, Crave, Lionsgate Canada, and Point Grey Pictures announced a live-action reboot of The Littlest Hobo, marking the first scripted project under their development partnership.
The original series aired on CTV from 1979 to 1985, following an ownerless German shepherd that wandered the country, stopping to help people in need.
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, founders of Point Grey, called the series a "foundational show of our childhood," promising that "though the hobo may be little, we promise big things to come."
Bell Media included the reboot in its 2026/27 slate of 62 English-language originals, with Justin Stockman, Vice-President, Global Content at Bell Media, calling it a "legendary piece of Canadian IP."
Production details and the release date remain forthcoming for the hour-long, 10-episode live-action drama The Littlest Hobo.
