Serial abuser handed life sentence for attacking women in Scottish Highlands

- In addition to the OLR, the court imposed non-harassment orders preventing Buchanan from contacting his three victims and placed him on the sex offenders' register for life.
- Detective Inspector Gordon Patullo of Police Scotland praised the victims' strength in coming forward, urging anyone who has experienced sexual abuse to report it "no matter the passage of time.
