In the third round of the European Championship in Riga, Serbian basketball players won against Latvia with a score of 84:80 (22:18, 20:20, 25:18, 17:24). That's how Svetislav Pešić's chosen ones are still undefeated, and they confirmed their passage to the knockout round of the continental championship.
Nikola Jokić scored 39 points, setting a new personal best for the Serbian national team, which won for the third time in its third appearance at this year's European Championship, defeating Latvia 84:80. Luka Dončić also scored 39 points, but France beat Slovenia 103:95.
Latvia now has two losses and a win.
