The Neuchâtel Public Prosecutor's Office on Monday requested 16 and a half years' imprisonment and 14 years' imprisonment for attempted murder of a woman who had been burned alive. The prosecutor explained that this femicide attempt was one of the "most heinous crimes in the canton in recent years".
