The owner of an ATV rental company in Zakopane has been sentenced. Stanisław G. was sentenced to seven months' imprisonment for stabbing a man who objected to off-road vehicles passing through private land. The court also ordered the injured party, Tomasz Gut, to pay 11,000 PLN in damages and ordered the defendant to pay court costs.
A verdict has been handed down in one of the most high-profile trials in recent years in the Podhale region. The owner of a quad and scooter rental company in Poronin, who stabbed one of his business's opponents, was sentenced to seven months in prison.
