Senegal Announces Squad for 2026 FIFA World Cup
On Thursday, Senegal head coach Pape Thiaw announced a 28-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which he must trim by two players before the final deadline later this month.
Senegal qualified for the tournament after a successful group campaign against DR Congo, Sudan, South Sudan, Togo, and Mauritania, marking the likely final World Cup opportunity for several members of their so-called 'Golden Generation'.
