Senators pass bill relating to genders, returns to House with amendments

(BISMARCK, ND) – Legislators have passed a bill relating to genders used in North Dakota. House Bill 1181 says that North Dakota Century Code references to male or female refer to the individual’s gender at birth. No Senators spoke against the bill during floor debate Thursday afternoon. The bill was amended in the Senate and will now return to the House.
